The organizers of the Sant Joan Art Market, popularly known as Sant Joan flea market, have announced its temporary closure in a statement published last Thursday on their social networks.

The statement reads: «Dear friends and colleagues, we regret to inform you that the Sant Joan market is temporarily closed. From today, until further notice, on Sundays there will be no more market in Sant Joan de Labritja. We send you a big hug and hope to see you again soon.»

The causes of the closure of this craft market, which has been held for many years every Sunday morning throughout the year and is a fixed appointment for residents and visitors to the island, have not been specified.
