The British singer Jorja Smith gave a spectacular concert this Thursday night at Ibiza Rocks, part of the events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the radio station Rinse FM. This 27-year-old singer-songwriter, who has collaborated with artists such as Drake and Stormzy and who was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammys, is considered the new promise of R&B and she demonstrated it yesterday on stage.

To warm up the engines before starting the concert, around 8:30 p.m., Smith kicked things off with: «How are you, Ibiza?» There was a lot of emotion and great expectation among the attendees for what was the young singer's first concert in Spain since her debut at the Primavera Sound music festival in 2022. And the audience showed her all their affection from the moment he stepped on the Ibiza Rocks stage.

With all this cocktail of emotions, Jorja Smith opened her concert with Try me. And the high came with the song that catapulted her to the top of the musical scene, Blue Lights, the single she released in 2016 and which is part of her first album Lost & Found. The show continued with songs like Where did I Go?, Falling or flying, Come over or Be honest. The audience chanted non-stop and at the top of their lungs each and every one of the songs that the British artist sang, from her best-known hits to some of her first compositions with which she managed to carve out a place for herself on the musical scene.

Surprise

But the icing on the cake came with the appearance of a great surprise guest, the British singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre, with whom he took his first steps as an artist in the composition of some of his songs. Saber's arrival on stage could not have been more electrifying and it was with the song Slow Down.

Definitely, the British artist far exceeded all the expectations that had been placed on her in this very special performance at Ibiza Rocks. Jorja Smith was connected with her fans at all times, thus creating an unparalleled atmosphere worthy of a great international star.
