On May 11th, several employees of the Sa Coma Animal Protection Centre found the dog Yoda wandering in the area around the Es Gorg car park. The first step was to check whether the animal had a microchip.

Once the owner had been located, Yoda remained in limbo for several weeks due to a disagreement between the owner and her ex-partner regarding custody, according to the animal protection centre. As conciliation between the two parties was not possible, the CPA Sa Coma processed a notification at the end of June, after which Yoda became part of the centre in Ibiza. However, this was only temporary. This little dog has already found a new home.

They are a British family on holiday in Ibiza. Yoda will become the new member of a house where other dogs she has already met and with whom she gets on «phenomenally well», according to the Sa Coma Animal Protection Centre.

As soon as Yoda has been vaccinated 21 days after her rabies vaccination, this foreign family will be able to fly with their dog to the United Kingdom and enjoy a new adventure together.
