Agents of the Guardia Civil are looking for the perpetrators of a brutal assault on a young woman who suffered several cuts on her face after being hit with a bottle by two individuals at the airport of Ibiza.

According to the information gathered by Periódico de Ibiza y Formentera, the events occurred on Saturday night, around 22.30 hours, next to the cab rank at the airport of es Codolar.

According to eyewitnesses, after an exchange of words, the two men lashed out at the girl, a 21-year-old woman of British origin. The individuals hit the woman in the face with a sharp object, a broken bottle, and caused up to four deep cuts.

After the brutal aggression the individuals fled on the run without being able to be apprehended.

Units of the Guardia Civil and an ambulance of 061 evacuated the seriously injured young woman.
