A young British tourist of 22 years, john William McKenna, has died this Friday morning after falling from the balcony of the third floor of a hotel located at number 9 of Ramon y Cajal street, in Sant Antoni.

The fatal incident occurred at around 10.50 am and several units of the Local Police of Sant Antoni, Guardia Civil and two ambulances 061 have been mobilized urgently to the scene of the incident. As reported from 061, the health services have been unable to do anything to save the life of the young man as the boy was in cardiorespiratory arrest and the injuries suffered by the impact were fatal.

The Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation of this fatal fall. According to sources of the investigation, the young man was in the room with a companion.

The central street has been cordoned off for more than an hour to facilitate the work of health workers and agents and after 12.30 pm has been carried out the lifting of the body.
