The motorcyclist killed Saturday night in a collision in Formentera is Ignacio Redondo, a 47-year-old state lawyer and legal director of Caixabank since 2010.

Redondo died after a collision with a van while riding his motorcycle in the area of sa Sequi, in Formentera.

The financial institution regretted the loss of Redondo, counselor and head of the legal department of Caixabank.

Redondo, number one of his promotion in the State Lawyer exams, worked in the Ministry of Justice before moving to the private sector.

According to the Consell de Formentera, the fatal accident occurred when he was riding a motorcycle in the direction of La Savina and collided with a van traveling in the direction of es Pujols.

An 061 ambulance was mobilized to the scene of the accident. The emergency services could do nothing to save the life of Ignacio Redondo.
