A man stops to help a boy with car trouble on a road in Ibiza and finds a two-metre snake

«I parked on the side of the road to get out to help and I almost stepped on her. It wasn't dead; I don't know how tall it was, but it was very big, maybe about two metres», this Ibiza resident explained to Periódico de Ibiza y Formentera.

Ferdinando says he has seen more snakes in his life during the years he lived in Australia, but the snake he found on this Ibiza road surprised him because of its size and location. «Seeing it in the middle of the road did surprise me. I had seen one in Ibiza before, but not at this size,» he says, adding that he is concerned because «there are more and more snakes in Ibiza».
