Although the minimums will begin to descend this Friday it will not be until Saturday night that the entrance of an Isolated Depression in High Levels (DANA) begins to be noticed with thunderstorms and weather warnings.

The mass of cold air associated with the 'Betty' storm will lower thermometers in Ibiza and Formentera on Sunday to 21ºC minimum and 27ºC maximum. For the night of Saturday to Sunday the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert for «major risk» of storms, an alert that will remain active until Sunday at 12.00. Throughout the day showers and locally intense storms are expected accompanied by hail that can cause localized flooding that will be more pronounced during the afternoon. The yellow alert has also been activated for the same Sunday for coastal phenomena, from 10.00 to 23.59 hours. On the other hand, northeast wind is expected with wind gusts of 40 to 65 km/h.

Already on Monday the Aemet announces cloudy intervals with scattered showers that could be accompanied by storm and be locally strong, more likely and intense during the early morning, remitting during the day.
