The maximum temperatures will tend to increase in most of the country this Wednesday, on a day when they will reach 25ºC on the Peninsula and 26ºC in the Canary Islands, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), which highlights as a significant phenomenon the intervals of strong easterly wind in the Strait of Gibraltar.

There is a possibility of some morning fog banks in both plateaus, the Ebro basin and the Balearic Islands (specifically, the islands of Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera will have fog warnings on Wednesday and Thursday), as well as haze in the Canary Islands.

On the other hand, rain is forecast for Thursday and Friday in the Pitiusas Islands, although for the time being it will only be light.

Temperatures will tend to rise almost everywhere in the country, except for the maximum temperatures in the southern half of the Mediterranean coast, and the minimum temperatures in the Central System and the Iberian Peninsula, where they will fall. Among the maximum values, 26ºC in Almería and Santa Cruz de Tenerife; 25ºC in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or Seville; or 24ºC in Granada or Córdoba stand out.
